PRIVACY POLICY, NOTICE ON PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

Serbian Business Systems doo Beograd, 39 Beogradska Street, Belgrade, (hereinafter: SBS or we), wishes to use this Notice on Personal Data Processing (hereinafter: Notice) to familiarize its users and the users of our company’s web page - www.sbs.rs (hereinafter: web page, website) with information related to personal data processing, protection thereof and the rights which, on that basis, belong to all persons to whom they pertain, and in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection (“Official Gazette of RS”, no. 87/2018), (hereinafter: LPDP).


1. Law on Personal Data Protection

In accordance with the LPDP, personal data is all data referring to a natural person whose identity has been determined or is determinable, directly or indirectly, especially based on an identity mark, such as name and identification number, location data, identifier in electronic communication networks or one or more designations of their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural and social identity.

3. Type of data and method of processing thereof

SBS collects only data which is necessary to achieve the purpose of processing.

Depending on the purpose of intended processing, the type of personal data processed by SBS includes:

  • name, surname
  • contact data (landline or mobile phone number, e-mail address, product delivery address).

We collect and process data via our web page, as well as manually.


4. Purpose of processing your data

SBS collects and processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • agreement execution
  • resolving your requests in terms of IT equipment replacement and/or repair
  • performing registration of your application to our courses
  • improving the quality of our services

5. Legal basis of processing your personal data

Depending on the purpose of collecting and processing personal data, the legal basis for processing your data can be:

  • your acceptance (consent)
  • agreement execution
  • compliance with legal regulations and legal obligations, which require processing of your personal data
  • legitimate (justified) interests

For example, we can obtain your data, such as your name, surname and contact data from you when registering your application to one of our courses on our website, or when you contact us by e-mail, mail, or otherwise, or when we resolve your requests in terms of IT equipment replacement and/or repair and that we process the same for the purpose of product registration, replacement or repair. Furthermore, we also process your data when organizing and holding business events, courses, company celebrations, business trips, when we can request personal data from our users, partners, and associates.

In each of these cases, we process data based on your consent or legitimate interest or execution of agreement and/or service you requested.


6. How long and where is your personal data kept?

SBS keeps your data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or in order to be in compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of the Republic of Serbia.

Your data which is in electronic form is kept on our IT infrastructure with limited access rights.

Data is partially kept in paper form in the form of work orders for repair and/or replacement of IT equipment in designated cabinets which are locked. Rooms containing computer equipment which serves for data processing, as well as cabinets with the documents in paper form, are locked outside of working hours.


7. Data recipients – who has access to your personal data?

SBS conducted a series of necessary organizational, personnel and technical measures in order to ensure that processing is performed in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection. We can guarantee at any moment that, as the operator, we keep your data safe against loss, unauthorised access and disclosure, as well as use outside the purpose for which it was given to us.

Depending on the purpose of processing your personal data, it can be accessed only by persons who need such data, namely:

  • Our employees
  • A third party that would be potentially hired to perform certain services – processor

The abovementioned recipients are obligated to keep and protect your personal data by an Agreement which they entered into with us in accordance with the valid LPDP.

Your personal data can sometimes be disclosed to local, republic, administrative and judicial government authorities, when this is required from us, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia.


8. What are your rights in connection with the personal data we process?

We undertake to keep your personal data as confidential and enable you to exercise the rights you have in accordance with the LPDP.

At any time, you are entitled to:

  • Access your personal data and receive an explanation on how it is stored, protected, and used
  • Correct your incomplete or incorrect data
  • Request deletion of your personal data, if there is no need to keep it
  • Limit the use of your personal data in certain cases
  • Return or transfer your personal data to an entity of your choosing
  • Request that your data be collected and processed by a person, and not to have it processed automatically
  • File a complaint and stop the processing of your personal data
